The Pokies review

#32 of 50 overall, scored 6.3 out of 10 on catalogue, bonus, licence, extras and payout speed.

6.3 / 10 #32 of 50 overall Since 2022

The Pokies dates from 2022, on the best date we could confirm.

The opening offer comes to 100%, up to A$500, 50 free spins, and the cashier does not state how long a withdrawal takes.

It names PAGCOR in the footer but publishes no licence number, so there is nothing to check it against. We found no documented complaints about its identity checks.

The catalogue came to around 296 games when we looked, of which 9 are titles we track, and the shelf is supplied by BGaming, Belatra, Betsoft, Booongo and 10 more. Deposits run through Bank Transfer, Mastercard and Visa.

What players say about The Pokies

5 reviews left by Australian players, averaging 7.6 out of 10.

Harrison S. September 2026 5.9

There is no licence number anywhere on The Pokies — just "PAGCOR" in the footer and nothing to check it against. For a site that asks for ID documents, that is the wrong way round.

Ravi P. August 2026 7.4

Counted somewhere around 296 games in the The Pokies lobby. Plenty of them are filler, but the shelf is deep enough that I have not run out of things to try.

Tuan J. October 2026 7.9

The Pokies is quick on a phone, the balance is always visible, and nothing popped up over the top of a game while I was in it.

Callum N. March 2026 8.2

Support at The Pokies answered in the middle of the night with a human reply that addressed what I asked, not a template.

Rolando N. September 2026 8.7

The loyalty side of The Pokies is more than a points bar — cashback actually landed, and it landed without my having to ask for it.
